It was in the year 1992 that God had given a series
of visions showing the details for direction in the years to come. The
purchase of the fifty-six acres of land that now make up the Eagles’
Refuge Holiness Campground was divinely orchestrated for the purpose
of deliverance for His people. “Build Me a place where I can bring
My Glory,” the Lord spoke in July, 1998. “Prepare Me a place, where
I can call men and women in, and deliver them by My Spirit and equip
them for the final work.”
When our church sold in August 2003, and we moved all
facilities to the campground, we knew the time had come to move
forward into the vision, and God was getting ready to make us builders. We
have been so blessed to see the anointing and zeal upon everyone working
together in the most wonderful unity. The raising up of this building
is not the victory of man’s accomplishments, but God has given supernatural
strength and ability.
With the dedication of the new church building comes
a great turning point for this ministry that is very symbolic and
prophetic. We are looking for His Glory to fill the House. As we
begin to worship in the new sanctuary, our hearts are stirred and
our eyes fixed upon the vision and purposes of God. The Lord is
calling us into His timing and His season. It is time to lay aside
our own timepieces and walk in God’s appointed sequence.
Our vision far exceeds the building of a mere structure. We
recognize that this is a most wicked and rebellious hour we are living
in. Evil abounds, but the grace of God does much more abound. With
all our hearts we believe that the Bride of all nations is quickly
being plunged into the greatest move of God for all times. It is
truly time for the promised Bride’s revival. We believe that the only
way to move through the “Doors of New Beginnings” is to seek out and
walk first through the “Ancient Gates of Revealed Truth.” We desire
to have you come and walk on with us.
God bless you,
Pastor Steven L. Shelley
